In a historic move to boost creativity among young learners, more than 3 lakh schools across India have joined the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, the country’s largest school innovation challenge. Organized by the Ministry of Education, Atal Innovation Mission, and AICTE, the event encourages students from Classes 6 to 12 to design practical solutions under themes like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Vocal for Local.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lauded the initiative, saying it will help shape a generation of “problem-solvers and innovators.” The best entries will be shortlisted for national-level recognition in early 2026.
