Jaipur, September 29, 2025: The North Western Railway (NWR) has officially announced recruitment for 2,162 apprentice posts across various divisions and workshops. The recruitment drive is aimed at providing skill training and employment opportunities for young aspirants under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

📍 Divisions & Trades
The apprenticeships will be offered in multiple trades including Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Machinist, Turner, Wireman, Mechanic Diesel, and Programming & System Administration Assistant (PASAA).
Divisions covered under NWR include Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Workshops at Bikaner & Ajmer.
🎯 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit: 15 to 24 years as on January 1, 2026 (age relaxation applicable as per government rules).
💰 Selection Process
The selection will be merit-based, determined by the marks obtained in Class 10 and ITI, without any written exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.
