In a remarkable academic achievement, two distinguished faculty members from Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU), Nagpur — Dr. Bharat Bhanvase and Dr. Sadhana Rayalu — have been recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists, according to the latest database released by Stanford University, USA.
The global list, prepared annually by Stanford researchers in collaboration with Elsevier, ranks scientists based on standardized citation indicators, research impact, and career-long contributions across various disciplines. Dr. Bharat Bhanvase, Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, is widely acclaimed for his pioneering research in nanotechnology, green synthesis, and process intensification. His work on sustainable chemical engineering applications has been published in several high-impact international journals.
Dr. Sadhana Rayalu, Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, has made significant contributions to environmental remediation, waste management, and water purification technologies. Her research focuses on developing eco-friendly solutions to tackle pollution and industrial waste.
