The Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is one of India’s most important entrance examinations for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by Central Universities and other participating institutions across the country.

As of now, NTA has not officially started the CUET UG 2026 registration process, nor has it announced the exact dates. However, based on trends from previous years, the application process is expected to begin between February and March 2026.
In CUET UG 2025, registrations opened on March 1 and closed on March 22, while the exam was conducted from May 8 to June 1. Similarly, CUET UG 2024 registrations began on February 27 and ended on March 26, with exams held between May 15 and May 31.
Once released, the CUET UG 2026 application link will be available on the official website:

To simplify the application process, NTA will use Aadhaar-based authentication in coordination with UIDAI. Candidate details such as name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and address will be fetched automatically. However, information not recorded in Aadhaar—such as parent or guardian details—must be filled manually by applicants.
