New Delhi, September 28, 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of 14 new Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) for teachers, beginning October 2025. The initiative aims to strengthen teaching methodologies, enhance classroom delivery, and align school education with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The new training modules will focus on:
- Subject-specific competencies in Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Languages
- Generic skills such as classroom management, pedagogy, value education, life skills, and inclusive education

- Holistic and experiential learning approaches for better student engagement
According to CBSE officials, the initiative will empower teachers to become “learning leaders” who can adapt to evolving educational challenges.
