The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched two flagship initiatives for the academic session 2025–26, designed to empower students with structured career guidance and holistic psychosocial support.

During a special orientation programme attended by principals, counselors, and wellness educators, CBSE unveiled the Career Guidance Dashboard and the Counseling Hub & Spoke School Model, both aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

1. Career Guidance Dashboard

The Career Guidance Dashboard, accessible at cbsecareerguidance.in, is a one-stop platform offering students, teachers, and school leaders access to:

  • Detailed information on career pathways across disciplines.
  • Resources for academic and skill development aligned with future opportunities.
  • Tools for structured career planning and decision-making.

This initiative ensures that every student has access to authentic, organized, and NEP-aligned guidance to prepare for higher education and careers.

2. Counseling Hub & Spoke School Model

To strengthen emotional and psychosocial support, CBSE has introduced the Counseling Hub & Spoke Model.

  • Hub Schools will be selected based on their infrastructure and availability of trained counselors.
  • These hubs will support nearby Spoke Schools, offering guidance, mentorship, and wellness programs.
  • The model aims to make counseling support inclusive, scalable, and accessible across the country.

Why These Initiatives Matter

Both programs reflect CBSE’s vision of creating future-ready learners. By combining career-focused resources with mental health support systems, CBSE is building a foundation where students can pursue academic and career success with confidence and resilience.
