Nagpur, September 24, 2025 — The NSS unit of Shri Shivaji Education Society Amaravati’s Science College, Congress Nagar, Nagpur celebrated NSS Day with great enthusiasm on 24th September 2025 at 10:30 am, marking the foundation of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a welcome address, highlighting the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You.”
🎤 Program Highlights
- Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker: Dr. O. S. Deshmukh, Principal of the college
- Introductory Remarks: Mr. B. T. Kumbhare, NSS Coordinator
- NSS Pledge: Taken by dignitaries, staff members, and volunteers, reaffirming their commitment to service.
In his address, Dr. Deshmukh motivated NSS students to actively participate in social and community service activities, including tree plantation drives and water conservation programs in rural areas. He further encouraged students to take part in national and university-level NSS events conducted by RTMNU to earn recognition and awards.
🌱 Spirit of Service
NSS volunteers showcased their enthusiasm and dedication toward community development and nation building. The event concluded with cultural performances by NSS students, followed by the National Anthem, reflecting unity, discipline, and the true spirit of service.

With over 100 NSS students and staff members in attendance, the celebration was a resounding success, inspiring youth to dedicate themselves to social responsibility and nation building.
